We created this special series to honour the Ukrainian nation and the Ukrainian army who are defending their native land from Russian invaders, who launched a war of aggression in February 2022. In creating the Neptune Mission model, Ugears designers and engineers were inspired by real events on the night of April 13-14, 2022 when the armed forces of Ukraine sank the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser Moskva, with two Neptune anti-ship missiles. The cruiser Moskva was the same ship that at the beginning of the war tried to capture the Ukrainian island Zmiinyi, or “Snake Island.” When the Russians ordered the Ukrainian military to lay down their arms and surrender,
